Olympus Pen E-P1 Crystal Coated Camera

The way things are going in this day an age, it was only a matter of time before peoples’ personal cameras began becoming a fashion statement.

Thanks to a one-off partnership with crystal giant Swarovski, Olympus have come out with the most fashionable digital camera on the market, the Olympus Pen E-P1.

The camera is a limited edition model that is remarkably covered in over a hundred little crystals, giving it that extra bling!

To the naked eye, the camera looks more like a practical joke that an actual high-priced, one-off item.

The tiny crystals could be mistaken for a bunch of tacky sequences that look more like an annoyance than a worthy addition to the camera.

But, while there may be a few haters of the design, there are also a huge number of crystal lovers who will be in awe at the new, expensive product.

Surprisingly, the announcement was made recently that the two businesses will be teaming up yet again in the very near future to make a follow up to the E-P1, the E-P2!

The expected release will carry more features that the current model, including an electronic viewfinder and will have the capability to capture seven minutes of high definition video along with high-resolution still images.

The E-P2 will also boast two new art filters, making it an all round updated design.

But in the meantime, if you are after a rather impressive Christmas present to a select few, the Olympus Pen E-P1 is a good choice.

And at around the $4,000, it is sure to at least raise some eyebrows!
