The latest technology forum has had many surprises, and many interesting inventions across the globe.

One of the more interesting ones to come out of it, comes in the form of a video game.

Now we all know that there is a recent trend to have interactive and enticing games which the public have to get off their backsides to play.

Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft have all achieved this in their recent gaming consoles, but now we have a new player.

Bot Colony, the “First Real Conversation Game Ever”! is all about communicating with the computer screen via a robot.

Users can talk to the game, and it can talk back. We are able to use a microphone to speak to the game, or choose the traditional sense and go with typing in questions.

Apparently, the game can “understand” me, but that is still questionable.

Bot Colony will be available to test out on August 16, 2010, and you can sign up for it here. I believe it is only available for English speakers only, though.

Even though it’s nearly three decades old, the Nintendo Game Boy is still getting new accessories made for the gaming console.

Just like a good glass of red wine, the Game Boy just keeps getting better, and more and more loved by fans of the gaming world the older it gets.

The latest accessory to be released is the Game Boy iPad Case.

The new release was first made available for the iPod Touch, the iPhone, and a series of other mobile phone and Apple products.

But now it’s Nintendo’s turn.

In short, the design is a slip on cover that your device can slide into and be used and protected.

The cool design is built with two layers of cozy felt. It has a grey screen, a black keypad, both A and B buttons and the Start and Select buttons too.

The inside is fully lined with felt and there are no visible seams, so there are no fears of scratches on your screen.

It is a pretty cool and flashy design, and it will certainly make your product stand out from the rest, and give you that extra bit of attention from fans of the Game Boy.

The Game Boy iPad Case is available from selected stores and websites for just over $35.

Nintendo Wii’s have come along way since their introduction into the gaming world a few years ago.

The basis of the game is so focused on energy and movement that it is very common the controllers are lost or broken or even just drained of their battery life.

It is no surprise that we have seen abundance in remote technology and accessories released in the past year or so.

One of the latest is the Wii PowerV Quad Inductive Charging and Storage Dock for four Wii controllers.

It is perfect for any household that is serious about its Nintendo Wii, and one that is sure to need full battery life every day of the year.

The invention holds and charges four conrollers at the same time, and it even comes with an added bonus that’s compatible with silicone covers and the Wii Motion Plus.

The dock will match the bright white colour of the controllers and actually looks more like a sculpture or art piece than it does an actual charging station.

It uses wireless technology, so there are no cords or annoying ropes you have to worry about, and it won’t allow any overcharging that would, or could damage your controllers.

The Quad comes with two rechargeable battery packs and can be purchased for around $50 from numerous websites including Amazon.

In a day and age where everyone is so conscious about the environment and saving the green house gas emissions, solar powered products are becoming more and more important.

These days we can find almost anything in a solar powered version.

If you want a car that runs on solar power, you can get one, if you want a TV that works from the sun rays, you can also have one. In fact, you can even get a computer to run on solar power nowadays!!!

But now there is another one to join the list.

The Soulra Solar Powered iPod Speaker is the latest revelation in Apple accessories and allows listeners to soak up your favourite tunes for eight hours thanks to the suns rays.

The device will play for up to seven hour straight once it has been fully charged, and if it is a sunny day, you wont even have to worry about time.

The one downside is that it is not waterproof, so if it does happen to be a dark, cloudy day, then pack up your beats and head for cover. But it is water resistant, so a few splashes is fine.

But, there are a heap of positives with the solar powered dock.

For one, you save cash on not having to buy, or carry, batteries. And you will also be doing your part to protect the environment.

The Soulra Solar Powered iPod is selling now for around $200 at selected stores and online.

Feel like your Xbox is a bit dull, and wouldn’t mind lighting it up a bit? A bit bored with your dull gaming consol? Feel like bringing all the attention to yourself while playing video games?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions than I suggests you grab one of the new Afterglow controller for Xbox gaming consoles.

The new remote control is the same as any f the older, previous releases, but the only difference is that this new range has a disco style feel to it.

In short, the case is clear, exposing heaps of lights and shining objects that make your remote look more like a disco than a gaming device.

We have seen similar versions for the Playstation 2 console, but this is the first time for the X Box 360.

Clearly, for the best effect, wait until nighttime to crack it out.

In the daylight they just look like a strange little controller, but at night their lights will shine bright enough to give a virtual fireworks display.

The Afterglow Controller works well with the Xbox 360 and comes in three different colors.

It’s funny that you get to choose a colour when it’s really a whole bunch of them shining through, but you don’t actually get to choose a color, the color shipped to you is chosen at random.

The new video game accessory can be pre ordered online for shipping every month.

The Afterglow controller is selling for just under $30.

People seem to want to bling up everything these days, Form cars, to teeth to their pets and even to their toilet paper holders!!!

But now I think the level of bling has taken a whole new level, with bling experts CrystalRoc taking on the challenge of pimping out the Xbox 360 gaming console form Microsoft.

In what they have labeled a PR campaign, the design took over 70 hours to make and it has basically covered every corner of the machine in Swarovski crystals.

To be exact, there are 11,520 crystals on the console, which is sure to make it the most expensive Xbox on the market.

While it doesn’t seem like the blinged-out Xbox will ever go up for sale, I think Microsoft should auction this baby off for charity or something, I mean it would only increase the PR of the company.

At least let the excess lead to supporting a good cause whether then simply selling more consoles.

Now if your are keen on purchasing one of these consoles, I doubt you will ever get your chance, or for that matter even get to see the machine, but I suppose there is a change you could get it custom made.

Maybe there is the option of going even further and coating it in gold. Now that would be a sight for the gaming lovers.

But for now, I guess the Xbox will just have to settle for crystals.

If you ever thought a normal standard hand mouse was complicated to use, let me introduce you to the Toe Mouse.

The foot version of the computer gadget is designed for those people who do not have any upper limbs, or those who have difficulty using their hands for fine tune skills.

The device is ergonomically designed to allow for natural ability for users to grip it between their toes.

What you have to do, is slip it onto your foot between your big toe and second toe, and just like a normal hand mouse, use your big toe as the left click button, and your second toe as the right click.

The Toe Mouse is built on a very similar model as a standard thong, or flip flop, where ones foot slides in with ease and is comfortable to use…Well, that depends what thongs we are talking about!

There are sensors below the big toe and the second that help with the right and left clicks and movement around the floor is done with as much ease as a hand version.

The Toe Mouse was designed by Liu Yi, so it’s not exactly something you’ll find at your local electronics store, but shouldn’t be too hard to track down if needed.

I can see this design being well embraced by the world, and it’s a great tool for those handicapped individuals.

Mastering the keyboard may still pose a tough challenge, but for now at least, the mouse side of things is covered.

Nyko have slowly been building a solid reputation for themselves in the video gaming word, and are now one of the most respected brands in the industry.

At their recent launch they unveiled a few new ground breaking products, one of which was the Charge Base Quad IC.

The design is basically a way of charging your Nintendo Wii remotes for hardcore gamers who need constant fresh battery life for the favourite games.

The Charge Base Quad IC uses induction technology to charge up to four controllers, and these controllers do not have to have their silicone sleeves or Wii Motion Plus attachments removed, either.

It also has a dual charge indicator light that shows you when enough is enough, and when you can continue playing.

The light in the background will change color from blue to green and after that it will be good to go for around 10 hours of playtime.

Te device also has a powered USB port for powering other USB devices.

But by far one of the coolest features of the new remote charger is its ability to give charge via a magnetic holder.

The Charge Base IC comes with a magnetic feature whereby the user simply has to put their Wii Remote on the charge base and it will stay there.

You should be able to pick up the Charge Base Quad IC for around $50 from selected video game stores and online.

Every day, millions of messages are sent form drivers as they steer their way through peak hour traffic, nearly causing fatal car crashes along their way.

The reality is that while police do their best to try to enforce the laws, the will never stop it completely form happening.

It seems the only way the issue will ever improve, is by software applications for mobile phones that will make the process of texting fast, efficient and above all , legal!

Currently on the market there are several applications to do this, including ones which make you stop texting at certain speeds, and some that read your message aloud to you.

The newest and most advance, however, is iLane’s new baby, which has been regarded as ‘the world’s first and only in-car device that gives you complete control of your smart phone by using simple voice commands’.

iLane, which is not made by Apple, allows the driver to open, listen to, and respond to email by voice command.

The driver can also make and receive phone calls by saying a person’s name or phone number out loud, as well as answer phone calls with a simple vocal command. The driver can even have their calendar events read aloud too.

The iLane is compatible with most Bluetbooth enabled BlackBerry Smartphone, and it is secure so you wont have anyone hacking into your privacy.

The iLane is for sale online and in some selected stores now.
