Thanks to the iPhone, anything is possible when it comes to technology and mobile phones.

The latest advancement is the ability to use hand gestures to control your music players and MP3 devices.

The technology is known as the “Moove” MP3 Player and has been created by eyeSight Mobile Technologies.

It’s basically anew interface for phones that enable one to control MP3 player software on a mobile phone with simple hand gestures.

It’s currently available only for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic users, and is proving already to be a hit with the public.

Half a million copies have already been ordered in less than four months of being on the shelves, and the application has dominated the top download lists for a long time running.

With its popularity eyeSight is currently in talks with other mobile phone manufactures to license the Hand Gesture Interface to be integrated into new models.

I’m sure it will only be a matter of time before Apple come out with their own version for the iPhone and co, but for the meantime, here is something they do not have just yet.

For those of you wondering how it works??

It basically allows users to play or stop tracks, as well as skip between songs by using simple hand gestures above the device’s frontal camera.

It is perfect for anyone running on a treadmill, meaning they will not have to fiddle or even touch the music player to be in control.

Ok, imagine this situation.

You’re at a nightclub or a party and someone does a round, but comes back with a bunch of beers and no one has a bottle opener.

You can try the oldest trick in the book and try cracking the top off with the corner of a table, or you could just use your iPhone.

That’s right, thanks to a smart designer who works for Apple, iPhone users are now able to buy a mobile phone case that comes with an in built bottle opener!

When we begin to look back at all the capabilities iPhones have, it is actually true when they say Apples mobile phone can take over the word.

As well as make phone calls, they can act as a camera, a music player, a computer, flashlight, video game console, GPS system, and now of all things it is a bottle opener as well!!

Fittingly, the new case is called the iBottleopener, as the best part about it is that the case does not block any vital parts of the phone and allows you to plug it in without needing to take of the case.

Beyond the bottle opener on the back it’s a pretty simple case.

It’ll work for your iPhone 3G/3Gs and it’ll soon fit the iPhone 4.

It will also cost you around $20 for one of these cases, and a bit more for handling and shipping.

Another day, another Nokia.

With the challenges facing all mobile phone manufacturers besides Apple, it really is interesting to see just what designs and features new mobile phones come up with to rival the iPhone.

Nokia’s latest attempt is the super slim X3 Touch and Type.

The new handset is sort of an each-way phone, with a touch screen display and a 12-button phone keypad.

Despite the fact it does have a touch screen, which for a while meant being more expensive, the phone really is on the entry level of the market.

Physically, it is pretty slim. In fact vey slim. It measures less than 1 cm thin and is actually the slimmest Nokia to date.

The slim design really does give it a point of difference to the iPhone, which is a bit more bulky.

It slips into any pocket without you even noticing it and will definitely not clog up your handbag.

A brushed aluminum back cover makes it great on the eye and it also comes in a choice of five vibrant colors that were specially designed to suit any mood or wardrobe.

Feature-wise it comes with both 3G and Wi-Fi support, not to mention a built-in music player and an integrated FM radio.

A 5-megapixel camera is also thrown into the mix, featuring 4x digital zoom with the ability to capture video and photos and a 16GB memory card to store all you needs.

It’ll be out in the next few months for around $210.

The best way to describe the following product is the iPhones version of Croc shoes.

If you love the look of those oversized, colourful things called shoes, then you would most probably like this product.

Just to give a little more protection to the already over protected Apple mobile phone, ArkHippo have come out with one of the strongest and sturdiest designs I have seem thus far.

The product is shaped like an iPhone, and really just looks like a big box to store the phone in, rather than to actually carry it around with you.

But, the bulky case does mean that as a user, you can basically abuse all hazards and throw your phone around, let it drop, take your frustration out on it and even use the rear as a hammer if you must.

The comparison I drew earlier with the shoe brand Croc’s is actually fitting is the handset case is actually made form the same material as the unique looking shoes, and I have a feeling the product was actually designed to allow people to mistreat their phones.

One thing is for sure, one of these cases will make a simple task of carrying your phone with you that little but harder.

With the size of the case, it’s very unlikely you’ll get it in your back pocket.

Now let’s not beat around the bush, the new Apple iPhone is clearly one of the most talked about and sought after techno products in the world.

While there are so so so many cool things about it, and so many things that make it the clear market leader when it comes to mobile phones, there is one flaw, and that is that they cost a lot of money.

The new iPhone can sell for around $700 and can even go up from there, so what if you don’t have enough cash to buy one???

Well, there is always the option to build your own iPhone.

The iPhone 4 is a new release which allows users to build their own mobile handset, from the screen to the actual camera.

Selling for the bargain price of just $188, the iPhone 4 is made up of many little costs and pieces put together.

In the package you will get a Retina Display, the most expensive component, retailing for around $30, silicone to seal it, a gyroscope, a screen and many other bits and pieces.

The best part about the whole package is that as well as saving you a bit of cash, it actually makes you understand the mechanics of mobile phones, and if there happens to be a problem down the track you will definitely have a better idea of how to fix it.

The iPhone 4 is selling in the US and will eventually make its way to all countries later this year.

With all the iPhone cover designs going around at the moment, it really is only the stand out few that we remember.

We have gone from clear plastic cases, to rubber sleeves, to waterproof cases, but now we have a new innovator in the market.

Allow me to introduce you to the iPhone Cassette Cover.

Basically it is a case that holds your Apple mobile phone, as well as making it look like a real tape cassette.

It is perfect for anyone keen to disguise their phone as something else, or even just to get a bit of a retro look back into your life.

This case will make your precious iPhone look like nothing more than an old worn out tape.

Also, another cool thing about the case is that it allows you to more easily sit and watch videos, as it acts as a holder for your phone.

In addition, when you hook up a set of headphones, it actually looks like a tape that plays music, GREAT!!!

But, there is a down side of this product, and that is that you have to order a minimum of six of them.

To get your hands on the cool case you will have to contact the manufacturers to find out just how much those half a dozen cases will cost you.

We all know how hard it is to take a snap of yourself on your mobile phone. It’s hell hard!!

for years we have been trying to master the art of just how to perfect the art of hand help mobile phone cameras.

Sales in digital cameras seem to be decreasing in recent times as mobile phones dominate the market.

So many people these days are content with using their mobile phones as digital cameras, and with the capabilities of phone cameras these days, i don;t blame them.

But the problem is that it is still a phone art the end of the day, and it is not designed to take photos. As a result, we find it near impossible to get perfect snaps.

But now an iPhone accessories has come to save the day and make that task that little bit easier.

The iSnapMe add on is a mirror attachment to your iPhone that allows users to take photos from both the front and back of your phone.

It just suctions onto the back of your iPhone, then using a mirror you will be able to keep track of how well you are doing.

Now they reckon it still takes a bit of practice to get used to , but I’m sure users will figure it out quickly enough.

In addition You can watch a video through the manufacturer that gives you an idea on how it works.

The iSnapMe add on will cost you $20 from selected Apple and technology stores.

New handsets are about as common as new McDonalds restaurants poking up around the world.

With technology only improving, it is very hard for any phone to have any sense of longevity in the market.

The latest release from Samsung release is the Seek M350, which has been talked about for quite some time and is a fairly anticipated release.

One of the big selling points of the handset is its full slide out QWERTY keyboard that makes it that much easier to send a messaging or to email a friend.

There are plenty of colours to choose from, and the phone really allows users to customize it to the way they want.

One great aspect of the product is it’s easy to use applications and functions. Just like Nokia’s this hone is very easy to use and quite user friendly.

There are great features as well, and in short, this is a phone that aims to bring the best of messaging features as well as multimedia favorites in a compact and stylish design.

3G connectivity will ensure you are always connected, and the speed is pretty damn fast!

Another great novelty with the purchase is that the phone and it’s packaging comes form 90 per cent recyclable products,, so you really do feel like you’re doing our part for society.

Pricing is not yet available, but make sure you keep an eye out on this release.

There are a bunch of eye and ear accessories designed to make your sleep that little bit easier and cozier.

For many people, light sleeping is a word that under describes how they are. If you are one of those people who wake up from a slight bit of chatter in the room next door, or from the TV on volume one in your room, then pay attention.

In addition, those who always wake up whenever the smallest amount of light streaks through your room, also read on.

Sleeping is so so so so good, so why not ensure that they shut eye you actually do get is worthwhile.

Thanks to our mates at ThinkGeek, we now have an accessory that combines both sensitive eyes, and ears for sleepers.

You can then attach the Sleep Phones to a compatible audio playback device, or music system of your choice via its 3.5mm audio jack.

Then you are free to doze off in your own world, free from outside annoyances.

The Sleep Phones Headphones are selling fro $40, but get in quick, cos’ they sell out fast!
