A design company called Tokyoflash has come out with a brand new design called the Ferrowatch, which is a watch that tells the time by moving liquid, to then display minute and hour hands.

It is all achieved via a liquid inside the display called Ferrofluid.

Now, a magnetic charge attracts the fluid to different positions inside the watch to tell the time.

Karim Zaouai is the individual behind the design, and here is what he had to say about the concept:

“The watch runs with ferrofluid, a very sensitive magnetic liquid. The hidden needless reflects the shape of the gears. They are a tribute to mechanical watches. The time, fickle and liquid freezes in space when tilting the wrist thanks to magnetism internal housing.”

At the moment there is a huge demand for these watches already, and with everyone trying to be unique and different in this current era, it won’t take long until they are widely seen across the public.
