Thee are many ways to find out the time, but still, the most conventional is via a wristwatch, whether it be your own or someone else’s.

Now, in the watch market at the moment, there is a while range of designs and styles of watches to choose, from a digital, to solar, to analog style watches.

But, now there is a new one to keep your eye out on, the magnetic watch.

A design company called Tokyoflash has come out with a brand new design called the Ferrowatch, which is a watch that tells the time by moving liquid, to then display minute and hour hands.

It is all achieved via a liquid inside the display called Ferrofluid.

Now, a magnetic charge attracts the fluid to different positions inside the watch to tell the time.

Karim Zaouai is the individual behind the design, and here is what he had to say about the concept:

“The watch runs with ferrofluid, a very sensitive magnetic liquid. The hidden needless reflects the shape of the gears. They are a tribute to mechanical watches. The time, fickle and liquid freezes in space when tilting the wrist thanks to magnetism internal housing.”

At the moment there is a huge demand for these watches already, and with everyone trying to be unique and different in this current era, it won’t take long until they are widely seen across the public.

For any of you who are massive camping lovers, or just the first timer who is scared they’ll freeze in the great outdoors, then this product may be of interest to you.

On the market at the moment there are numerous sleeping bags and swags that promise to keep you warm during a cold winter night camping.

While they probably do, here is another one to add to that list when it comes sleeping bag buying time.

The Exped DreamWalker 450 Sleeping Bag boasts a design that is unlike any other.

Firstly, you get a unique sleeping back pattern that can be converted into a sort of down-coat when the occasion is right.

Basically, the bag, unlike standard models, actually comes over your shoulders and straps around your head.

It basically looks like a full body suit, only that it is a sleeping bag.

The inclusion of a tuck-stitch design with bar tacking at specific stress points also ensures that you will have a reasonably good quality product, one which really should see you through many years of camping trips before it starts to wear out.

The design comes in a few different sizes, and therefore varies a bit in pricing.

Expect to pay at least $275 for your size, and don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll get your moneys worth out of it, or at least your body will!

It’s only been a couple of months, but iPad lovers are already coming up with new and trendy designs to carry around their latest technological gadget.

While there are the standard Apple cases you can buy from the usual stores, a new range of unique and interesting designs are beginning to be released.

The BookBook is one of these.

The protective case has already been released for the MacBook, but now it’s making its way to the iPad to make sure that it stays safe as well.

What it does is convert your iPad into an antique book, thanks to the cool outer shell.

It’s the perfect case for the gadget lover who also falls into the category of being a book lover.

To the eye, the BookBook is a case that looks exactly like an antique bed, and to the public, it’s easy to be fooled.

The cover zips up to keep the iPad inside, plus there are plenty of things inside of the book to make sure that your iPad doesn’t shift around and get damaged while doing your every day thing.

The hardcover case also doubles as a handy little stand so you can use your gadget at ease.

And one of the best parts about it all, is that thieves won’t even know you have something to steal, so they’ll leave you alone!

The only bad feedback I’ve heard about the design is that sometimes, the cover can get in the way of some areas of the iPad you might want to get to, but otherwise, it’s thumbs up!

The product comes in two different colors, or designs, and sells for around $70 from Twelve South.

Now this invention is one for the extreme sports lovers.

Many people have thought about it, and I’m sure plenty of inventors have tried to emulate it, but now finally someone has figured out how to replicate the feeling of snowboarding on concrete.

Allow me to introduce you to Freebording.

Freebording is a type of specialist skateboard that is designed to emulate the behavior of that of its snow sister.

The board has six wheels, two of which rotate round and four of which steer and act to direct the board.

When your weight is distributed a the right point, the board then slides away from you, until you transfer it back to the other side.

The action is identical to snowboarding, only that when you fall on concrete it hurts a fair bit more than on the white stuff.

The sport is really starting to grow in the extreme sports community and people are now figuring out how to perform tricks on them and take it to the next level.

If you are not interested in the actual sport itself, than the design might catch your eye.

A Freebord really is a great invention, and one that has amazed many fans of all kinds of skating objects.

The following product may just be the world’s best ever dog leash.

Yes, that phrase may be one that is thrown a lot, and one that an only ever really be determined if dog’s could speak, but regardless, this product is really one of the market leaders in its field.

The Ko-soku is a specially designed dog leash that has the comfort of both the dog and the owner in mind.

In the past, we have only ever cared about how good a certain leash is for the owners, and how effective it is in controlling our four legged friends.

As dogs aren’t that great at complaining, we never really know how uncomfortable they can until they start bleeding or yelping in pain.

However, finally there is a company that takes into consideration the feelings of dogs.

The Ko-soku combines both plush and rigid materials, making it ideal for waking companions.

It features a fully retractable six foot long leash, a reflective 3M tape surface for extra visibility when you take your dog out early in the morning, or late at night when the sun is down.

It also comes with a side pocket to hold doggy waste bags, and shock absorbent neoprene and durable nylon canvas wrapped around a semi ridge core for strength and flexibility.

If you are keen on grabbing one of the Ko-soku leashes for your dog, they sell for around $40.

Now here is the perfect invention for any lover of the drink, who is also a lover of summer weather and the hot sun.

It’s one of the common problems for most people when it gets a bit hotter, that our precious alcoholic drinks become victims of the sun and go warm within minutes.

Lugging around an esky can be a real pain in the backside, especially when you are dying of heat exhaustion, so what other options are there??

Well, the truth is there hasn’t been many alternatives, until now.

Allow me to introduce you to the Chilly Boxcooler Backpack, a bag that straps over your shoulders, and operates as an freezing bag to keep your drinks cool on those sweltering summer days.

The bag easily slings over your shoulder and is really easy to carry and to use, and the best part about all of it is that it isn’t obvious that you’re carrying around your own personal stash of drinks on your back!!!

The canvas is completely waterproof and the cooler itself is removable.

Within the cooler it will hold a dozen and a half of your normal-sized 12 oz. cans and it also has a zippered mobile phone holder to make sure you can keep your phone on you at all times.

The extra padding on your back and waist straps will ensure it’s a comfortable wear and that you don’t get any soreness after a day of drinking.

If you are keen on buying the Chilly Box Cooler Backpack it can be yours for just under $50 through Family Travel Gear.

Wedding rings have always been about reminding you of your loved ones, and the other half of your life you care about the most.

But what if you could carry photos of your loved ones as well???

Well, this new design by a weeding ring manufacturer serves both purposes: a ring to bind your love, and a projector to show images of the two of you together.

Hold on, a wedding ring with a photo inside it you ask???

Well, it is a small picture, but it is large enough to be able to see clear, and it will actually get bigger if you shine a light through it.

In fact, you can project an image on the wall!

And the best thing is that you don’t have to just stick with one picture. The ring has the option of switching out slides, but they must be pretty tiny slides.

The cool ring is designed by Luke Jerram and jeweler Tamrakar, but the problem is, why would more than one person want to buy the ring?? Remember wedding rings are all about being unique.

Let’s hope it doesn’t get mass produced.

Travelling is usually one time people tend to split with their favourite technological gadgets and travel a bit lighter.

With the increasing amount of theft, and the annoyance of having to carry all that extra weight, it is more common these days to leave your important devices, like your computer, iPad, mobile phones and MP3 players at home or in a safe area.

But now there is a way for this to be avoided and to enable you to have the best of both worlds: safety while carrying your gadgets.

Sun Valley’s ScottEvest clothing designers have come up with a product they call the Ultimate Hoodie.

The clothing item is a basically a vest you wear under your top half of clothing. It comes with six pockets to stash your items in, strong stitching so it won’t break during your adventures and also comes with a set of handwarmer pockets for those extra cold conditions.

When you see the product, you will instantly think of those street watch sellers that have trench coats with a bunch of hidden pockets in them.

But this is even better, and it keeps everything close to your body and hidden from any possible thieves.

The only really cons in the design is that the key holder lanyard can clutter the front pocket and that the headphones tabs are slightly bulky.

SPECS:

    * Zip up hoodie sweatshirt with longish knit cuffs and waist.
* Two velcro closure mini pockets within two magnetic closure handwarmer pockets.
* Zippered breast pocket with interior magnetic closure “divider” and second zippered pocket within.
* Patented Personal Area Network (PAN) routes and hides gadget wires.
* Earbud and headphone collar / zipper-side loops.
* Key ring lanyard (fastex buckle) stitched into handwarmer pocket.
* Two stout elastic bands inside handwarmer pockets hold gear firm.
* Distressed dark gray fabric; large and partially embroidered logo on back.
* Sizes S-XL.

Fast twitch action in your arms is a great thing for many reasons.

In sport, fast arms are important for passing, punching, tackling, ball control and so on.

In general life it is always good to have fast hands. It can help in many situations like catching a falling glass, typing faster or even just clapping to a beat!

But at the end of the day it all comes down to having ripped, strong arms, and keeping unnecessary fat off.

Wrist weights are a great way to achieve this, and the best part about it is that it can be done without even realizing you are working on them.

The weights attach to your wrists and vary from smaller lighter weights, to bigger heavier ones.

As a beginner it is advised to start small, and the half a kilo each option is the best bet.

To get the best out of them, you are advised to wear them for at least eight hours a day every day.

For the first few minutes you will notice them, and it may be difficult making your first coffee for the day.

But, after that, you will forget about them completely while your arm muscles get used to the excess weight and subconsciously begin to get stronger and leaner.

Ankle weights will work wonders, without you having to put any real effort in.

They can be purchased at most sports stores, and online.
