If there ever was a time to buy a laptop, that time is now. With the boom of the online world, and exponential technological growth, we have seen an excessive amount of cheap, reliable and smart looking laptops recently released.
One of these, is the latest Dell machine, the Inspiration11Z.
On face value, the Inspiration 11Z is a simple, classy design. It has a plain black glossy screen cover, matte black chassis, and a silver painted palm rest.
While there are a few flaws in the structure of the laptop such as the all-in-one touchpad and tacky rubber stops, the laptop maintains a relatively slim design that is strong and durable. The screen cover and chassis also provide good resistance from scratching and other wear and tear.
On the technical side of things, the Dell Inspiration comes with the new ultra-low voltage Celeron 723 processor, in favour of the commonly used Intel Atom, and when paired with X4500 integrated graphics it makes for a laptop with more grunt and power than Dell’s previous models.
It seems Dell were to keen to market the Inspiration as a simple laptop for the everyday person.
It is very simple to use and especially for those technologically challenged. There are no media buttons outside of function keys on the keyboard, and there aren’t even activity lights or touchpad buttons.
Dell really tried to take out unneeded or cluttering features to make this notebook as clean and easy to use as possible.
While there may be a few faults in the making of the Dell Inspiration, it makes up for it with a classy design and powerful performance.
