Casio G-Shock Frogman: Underwater Radio Wrist-Watch

Casio G-Shock is back with an even more powerful and advanced wrist-watch for the diving lovers.

Casio recently unveiled its newest wristwatch, the Casio G-Shock GWF-1000 Frogman, a top of the range radio controlled diving watch.

Believe it or not, it is now possible to party hundreds of meters underwater, listening to the radio with some of earth’s sea creatures!

Not only has Casio G-Force created a watch which can maintain waterproof qualities even 200m underwater, but has created a machine capable of enabling radio reception and supporting up to six world-standard radio stations.

Other than water and shock resistant capabilities, the Frogman is also equipped with a 48 cities (31 time zones) show time, Dive Log, Dive Time, five alarms, Tough Solar technology and EL backlight.
The watch also comes with a special asymmetrical design with an engraved Frogman logo on the stainless steel back, making it the stand out among the rest of the G-Shock family as the true diver’s watch.

The Frogman may not be the most pleasing wristwatch on the eye. In fact, its bulky, machine like design, makes it near impossible to wear out in public.

However, that just makes it even more of a divers watch as it should only be used for its creative purpose – diving.

The Casio G-Shock GWF-1000 Frogman will go on sale on September 20th for approximately $700 US.

It can be purchased online Via the Casio website or in selected stores across the globe.

Very informing post. If you need to listen to BBC Radio on the iPhone – I strongly recommend BBC Radio iPhone Streams – it is easily the quickest and most reliable way to listen to BBC Radio on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch and it’s free at BBCStreams.com.

  2. I love my G-Shock…. has been used and abused for 2 years now, has been dipped in diesel, oil and chemicals, I used every single day for 2 years now and has performed flawlessly. I would recommend this watch to anyone who looks a great all around watch for work/everyday use. Tough as can be, made for long last.
